By using the Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure services you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which come into immediate effect upon your first use of them. If you do not agree to be legally bound by any of the policies or terms on these websites, please do not continue to use either http://www.chateau-de-cautine.com or http://www.chateau-adventure.com
Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure may at any point in time amend these terms and conditions and upload a revised version to be accessible online. Please review these terms on a regular basis to be informed of any changes that may have been made. Continued use after these terms and conditions have been revised, means that you are legally bound to changes specified within these new terms.
Booking / Reservation
Following a client's enquiry for availability or the receipt of an online booking request, a provisional acceptance of the booking will be made by telephone, fax and/or by email. To confirm the reservation the client should complete, sign and return the booking form and arrange payment of the requested deposit.
The client agrees to pay 100% of the total holiday cost. Payment method can be arranged during the booking correspondence, though preferably paid by cheque, credit card or direct bank transfer. (Cancellation conditions apply)
Any deposit paid constitutes part of the total charge. Following receipt of the booking form and deposit, the owners will confirm acceptance of the booking by email, usually within 24 hours.
The client agrees that they are authorised to make this booking on behalf of their party and agrees to be over 18 years of age.
All Reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Damage Deposit
The client takes responsibility and utmost care in respect of the accommodation properties, equipment and chateau surroundings. A damage deposit of £100 or Euro equivalent is payable in cash on arrival as security against breakages or damage. This deposit will be refunded prior to departure and if the client’s accommodation has passed inspection for damages and breakages. The client will also be liable to pay the cost of breakages or damage in excess of this deposit before departure. This clause shall not limit the client's liability to the owner.
Contract
Any cancellation by the client must be outlined in writing and sent via post, email or fax. The effective date of cancellation is the date we receive this notification. The client agrees liability for any cancellation process initiated by their request and that the associated cost to be initial “non-refundable” deposit paid upon booking.
Conditions of reservation
The reservation takes effect when the owner/manager has received 100% of the total tariff.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, the following fees will be charged:
If cancellation occurs more than 2 months before the arrival date: 30% of the total tariff.
If cancellation occurs less than 2 months before the arrival date: 100% of the total tariff.
In the event of non-arrival:
100% of the total amount of the stay
In the event of early departure:
If for any reason you decide to leave before the end of your scheduled stay, no refund will be given.
In order to cover any risk of cancellation or interruption of your stay, we recommend that you take out travel insurance.
Responsibilities
You must keep the property and all furniture, fittings, equipment and grounds in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday and in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found. You will be responsible for the payment for any breakages, loss or damage to the property caused by you. (Travel Insurance is required to cover these possibilities). Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure reserves the right to make deductions from the damage deposit for any extra cleaning or preparation over the normal allotted hours allocated after departure and to claim against you for any damage or loss of which the cost exceeds the initial damage deposit.
Owner Access
Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure owner’s and staff must be granted access to inspect the property prior to your departure or at any point throughout the duration your stay. Access may be required for cleaning, maintenance and client requests.
Changeover, Arrival and Departure
Clients are asked to vacate all accommodation by 11am on the day of departure. Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure are not obliged to release the accommodation before the stipulated time, nor shall the client remain within the property after the departure time, unless otherwise arranged. Please Send a Quote to arrange alternative times if required, Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure reserve the right to amend or refuse any alternative and requested times.
Additional Services
Clients that require additional services throughout the duration their stay are asked to inform the Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure caretakers in advance. Requests for additional services are dealt with on an individual basis and will be subject to and additional charge. Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure accept no liability for services recommended to or provided by third parties / out sourced companies.
Bed Linen
Bed Linen is included and is changed once a week. Additional changes are available upon request; please note there may be an additional charge for this service.
Liability
Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure are not liable or responsible to the client for any failing or delay, temporary or otherwise, in the supply of services relating to that of their onsite accommodation. Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure are not liable for any failure, inconvenience or incident in respect to any equipment, machinery or appliance located in or around the accommodation, gardens or swimming pool, nor for any disturbance, noise or work occurring in the area surrounding the property by other persons, nor for loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or any matters beyond the control of Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure.
At Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure every effort has been made to ensure your safety. Clients accept that Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure is an historic estate and as a result areas within the site may be subject to increased risk or danger. Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure accepts no responsibility for accidents suffered by the client or the client's party or their visitors.
Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure Château accepts no responsibility for accidents suffered by the client or the client's party or their visitors during adventure sports activities carried out with third party providers ADN and Sagiran. All liablities relating to these activities fall under the terms and conditions of ADN and Sagiran.
If an amendment or cancellation to a booking occurs because accommodation has been substantially damaged or destroyed before the start of the due arrival, Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure will if possible offer an alternative date for your reservation. In any such event, Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure will refund to the client any cost paid in respect of their initial booking. Under no circumstances shall the liability of Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure to the client exceed the amount paid.
Valuables left within any accommodation, are done so at the clients risk. Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure are not responsible for any loss and it’s the duty of the client to take precautions against theft and burglary. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all doors, shutters and windows are closed and locked when leaving the accommodation. Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure are not liable for theft and no refund can be issued should you decide to vacate the accommodation as a consequence of a burglary.
Complaints
If you have any problems or complaints during your stay at Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure, please Send a Quote immediately. Complaints received after you have departed may not be fully accepted. However, if you complaint was not dealt with appropriately during your stay, please put your comments in writing (within 28 days) and post to: Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure, St Privat, Correze 19220, France. We endeavour to respond to all complaints promptly and in a reasonable manner.
Insurance
All clients must possess a valid and appropriate travel insurance policy for the duration of their stay at the Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure. Proof of insurance may be required on or before arrival.
Smoking
The client agrees that smoking on Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure property is at the management’s discretion and is only permitted outside the main properties, inline with recent French no-smoking policy.
Pets
The client agrees that Pets are only allowed on Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure property by prior arrangement and that any damage caused to property by pets during a stay is liable to payment and or loss of the damage deposit.

The websites www.chateau-adventure.com and www.chateau-de-cautine.com have been made available for your use by Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure and are subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement (the "Agreement"). The information provided on these websites is provided by Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure and its third party suppliers.
Disclaimer

Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure AND ITS THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
NEITHER Château de Cautine/Chateau Adventure NOR ANY OF ITS THIRD PARTY PROVIDERS, PARENTS, MEMBERS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, LICENSORS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS OR EMPLOYEES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE THE SITE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE DAMAGES, EVEN IF SUCH PARTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
