The living areas
The Chateau is full of original features, stone and wood floors, open beams, massive fireplaces, a tower, comfortable furnishings and original French antiques from the Baroness de Cautine. It is fully centrally heated and very cosy in winter while in summer, due to its ancient thick stone walls, it remains cool even on the hottest days.

The kitchen is also a great gathering place for cooking and chatting round the big table. While it is fully equipped and convenient, it retains all its original features in addition to copper pots, wooden settles, cosy armchairs, antique cupboards and a grandfather clock!

The large sitting room is another lovely room with comfortable sofas and chairs, a small library of books, a fireplace and an old piano (not restored yet!). Large, wide screen TV with English channels and DVD player. There is a sound system for CD’s and cassettes.

Off the living room is a play room where there are children’s books, toys and various games. There is a table-football table, a collapsible ping pong table and a snooker table in the house which can be put up in one of the large bedrooms if required.
