With lovely soft furnishings, a chaise longue and lots of beautiful antique furniture. The bathroom has an excellent shower over a three-quarter bath. This part of France belonged to Richard the Lionheart, the Duke of Aquitane, in the 13th century. It was here that he was mortally wounded in battle. In the 17th century, the wars between the Huguenots and the Catholics were fought with particular intensity in this area. There are many historical sites nearby relating to events of these periods.
